About Sydney Caruso
Welcome to Studio Sydney!
A little bit about me, my name is Sydney Caruso, I’m a 27 year old self taught artist specializing in hyperrealism. I am based in Vancouver but was raised in Calgary :) I have been drawing since I was a child and have always loved capturing the emotions of people and furry friends. One of my vocations is helping others, which is why I work as an RN specializing in Neurology! People always ask me if I chose the right profession, the answer is my work helps inspire my art. I wouldn’t be as inspired by “people” if I couldn’t be apart of so many different human experiences daily!
At Studio Sydney I aim to create art that provokes and captures emotion. My eye for detail has made hyperrealism a natural choice for me but I do love other mediums and styles of art (painting, mixed media, digital, sculpture, etc).
